• Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - Being Grateful for Another Breath
    Oct 17 2026

In this episode, we’re diving deep into the power of gratitude and the comfort of knowing we are never alone. This wasn’t a scheduled Corner Connection or Financial Freedom Friday. I came into the corner simply because I missed y’all and wanted to say Thank You. On Cousin Ed’s Corner, we don’t just say TGIF. We say TGFE, Thank God For Everything. 🙏🏾

Over the past few weeks, I’ve talked with several people who lost loved ones, and it reminded me how precious it is just to be among the living. We’re giving thanks for the lives of those who’ve gone before us, for every memory they left behind, and for the simple blessings so many of us take for granted: the air in our lungs, our sight, our touch, and a right mind. With the holiday season coming, I know it gets heavy when the person who should be here isn’t. If that’s you, this episode is a hug for your heart. 🕊️

  • Wind Down Wednesday - Open Your Window And Let Your Mind Be Free
    Oct 15 2026

In this episode, we’re slowing it down and talking about the power of a true midweek reset. We made it to hump day, and the weekend is so close we can smell it and taste it. Before we get there, I wanted to check in on the Community and remind you to let your mind be free.

This isn’t just about getting some sleep, it’s about our peace, and giving ourselves permission to rest with intention. Take your shower, grab whatever is in your cup, and plan out the weekend you’ve been waiting on: the book, the trip, the goals, the quiet time. I’m also sharing my own routine, from sound baths and ocean waves to opening my windows and letting the cool fall breeze and the sounds of nature carry me to sleep. Shout out to my New York people with the fire escapes, I see you too!

Remember, rest isn’t a reward you earn at the end, it’s fuel for the journey.

  • Motivational Monday - Relighting Your Fire And Reclaiming The Dreams You Had As A Kid!
    Oct 13 2026

On today's episode, we’re diving deep into a question that might just change the way you look at your life: 'If you had all the money and all the time in the world, what would you do?' I’m challenging all of us to reconnect with the kid we once were, before society put labels and restrictions on our dreams. Remember when you wanted to be a dancer, a painter, a rapper, or a fireman? That fire is still in you, and today we’re going to talk about lighting it back up.

This isn’t just about dreaming, it’s about working to take control of our life. It’s about why so many of us wait for retirement to start living, and why we keep waiting for somebody else’s permission to chase what makes us happy. I’m talking about how bills and responsibilities can smother our dreams, how our dreams are allowed to grow up with us, and how folks are changing careers later in life and loving every minute of it. And I’m keeping it real with y’all: I’m guilty of sacrificing my own dreams to please others. This one is for me just as much as it’s for you.

  • Financial Freedom Fridays - Is the Government Holding Your Unclaimed Money?
    Oct 9 2026

In this episode, we’re diving into unclaimed money and how to claim what's your TODAY! Do you know may have unclaimed money out there, I'm talking about checks you never cashed, tax returns that never reached you, old retirement plans, forgotten stock dividends, and even inheritances you didn’t know existed. When companies can’t find you, that money goes to your state, and it sits there waiting on YOU to claim it. AND TODAY IS THE DAY....

Listen, something told me to looked myself up this week and found two unclaimed funds with my name on them. Then I started searching for my parents, my cousins, my aunts and uncles, and my friends, and I sent them links to money they didn’t know they had. One in seven Americans has money sitting in a government account somewhere. This isn’t just about a few dollars. This is all about looking out for each other and passing the blessing along. Don’t be selfish with this one! TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW....

I walk you through exactly how to search your state’s official .gov website or visit unclaimed.org. I also explain why you need to check every state you’ve ever lived in, including your college state. And this Christmas you and your family can have some extra funds under your tree.

  • The Corner Connection - What's In Your Family Constitution?
    Oct 7 2026

In this episode of The Corner Connection, we're diving deep into the values that shape us and the traditions that hold our families together. Yesterday was my grandmother's heavenly birthday, and while thinking of her, I started asking a powerful question: What's in your family constitution? This isn't just about rules and traditions. It's about the codes we were raised on, and the people who poured into us long before we knew what we were receiving.

I'm sharing the law my grandmother laid down for us cousins down south: no matter what arguments happen in the room, 'You defend your family, and your family defends you.' I'm also sharing how my dad taught me to care for others, the "amendments" I've made as I've grown, and a real conversation with my son about our family's non-negotiables. Remember, the values that last are the ones that live inside us, not the ones we're forced to follow.

Tap in and let's talk about the values many of us gained from those who raised you: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner

Drop me a comment with one value from your Family Constitution that still guides your life, and share a memory of a grandparent, mother, or father whose words stuck with you until today! • Motivational Monday - The Deadline Is Here: Are You Registered To Vote?
    Oct 5 2026

This Motivational Monday, we're talking about one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself, your family, and your community: VOTING. Here in Georgia, today October 5, 2026 is the last day to register for this November's election, and deadlines in other states are right around the corner. This isn't just about politics. It's about our voices, our households, and the future we're building for the next generation.

This one is personal. My daughter turned 18 back in June, and making sure she got registered reminded me that so many young folks might not know the deadline or the process. So I'm asking you: check on the young people in your life, check on our seniors, and check on that friend who said "my vote doesn't count." Remember, just you showing up can inspire somebody else to show up. Look at gas, groceries, the light bill, and our schools, and ask yourself if it's getting any better.

Tap in to get motivated and get ready: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner Drop me a comment and tell me who you're helping get registered, or what issue is driving you to the polls this year! And don't stop at the ballot. Call your congressman and senators and let your voice be heard. 💪🏾

  • Thank God For Everything (TGIF) - Let Him Carry Your Weariness 'We Can Always Count On Him'
    Oct 3 2026

In this episode, we're kicking off October and the fourth quarter with a full heart of gratitude. Over here we don't say TGIF, we say TGFE: Thank God For Everything. Every day of the week, every high, every low, every breath. I'll be honest with y'all, I needed this one as much as anybody listening.

We're stepping into Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I'm calling on the whole Corner Community to focus on our HEALTH. Wake up ten minutes earlier. Knock out some calf raises, pushups, or sit-ups. Drink that extra glass of water. Small steps, FAM. Somebody who started this year with us isn't here anymore, so let's honor the gift of today by taking care of ourselves.

Then we go to God in prayer. I'm thanking Him for the people who've been with us for years, the new ones still figuring us out, and even the ones He removed for our good. Remember, when you get weary, hear Him say, "Let go. I got you."

  • The Corner Connection - Suicide Prevention and Awareness 'Check On Your People'
    Oct 1 2026

In this episode, we’re having a needed conversation on The Corner Connection. As September comes to a close, I couldn’t let Suicide Prevention Month pass without talking about it. Between some podcasts I’ve been listening to and a powerful message at church, this conversation has been on my heart, and I believe it’s one we all need.

So many of us are carrying something quietly. Depression, postpartum, menopause, midlife crisis, divorce, grief, or just the weight of everyday life. I’m getting honest about the fact that we don’t always understand what someone else is going through, and that’s okay. You don’t have to understand to show up. A phone call every morning, weekend plans, or simply saying “I see you, I’m here” can mean more than you’ll ever know. And if you’re the one struggling right now, you are not alone and we need you here. Call or text 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org, anytime.

We’re also looking ahead to October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, because taking care of ourselves means caring for our minds AND our bodies. Do your exams, set your appointments, and remind the people you love to do the same. Tap in to hear the full conversation: https://linktr.ee/cousinedscorner
