When we consider the current state of the church, are we seeing a correlation with the world?
Confusion, division, opinions, resentment, judgement etc. we witness in the world on a day to day basis.
Unfortunately the church appears to be mirroring the nation, or is it the other way around.
The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Is that what we are seeing in the body-of-Christ?
Is the church ready for a mass influx of new believers or is it in a place where unity must first be established before the next great awakening?

In times of chaos and distress the church defaults to the Return of Christ. We have become accustomed to hunker down and wait for Jesus to return when we don't like what's going on in the world.
When Jesus said to Peter that I will build My church on the revelation that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the gates of hades will not prevail against it.
We are to let Jesus build His church, not us, and break out of the church walls and establish the Kingdom of God in the marketplace.

What do you do when an unexpected event takes place in your life.

Today Paul brings an encouraging word to those who have experienced the unexpected in their lives.

It is important that we maintain our focus on the prize. God has set before us a future, a purpose and an assignment. 

When things in our life 'go-south' it is important to remember what God has promised and how that connects with your dreams and passions for the future.

Mine out the positive vein in a negative or unexpected event. Theres always something that God can and will turn the situation around in your favor.

We can dream big. We can desire greatness. But if you don't believe it then your head and heart connection becomes distorted. 
Cultivating your Authentic Voice and Signature Sound is key to connecting with your assignment in God and in life. When you can voice who you are and what you were created to do, you align yourself with a place in the future.
It's not just a matter of believing. You become the message  of who you are. John the Baptist declared that he was the VOICE of one crying out in the wilderness preparing the way for the Lord. His expression in his words resonated with the assignment over his life.
Create your signature sound today. Declare through your Authentic Voice who you are and what it is God has placed in your heart.

When we understand the reasons for the seasons in our lives, we are more apt to see the hand of God working and operating in the background to advance our lives into the purpose and assignment for our lives.
Seasons are significant and are designed to help grow us, enlarge us, to carry the call on our lives. We are prepared in so many ways by what we go through in life. 
We often lose sight of the workings of God when adversity and unrest comes knocking on our doors. These are distractions the enemy uses to derail us from the task at hand. 
Focus on God and don't allow the nagging voice of the enemy to pull you away from the call of God on your life.
