  • Things I Love: Widow's Bay Edition
    Oct 14 2026

For my first Things I Love (name still pending approval of the council), I’m talking about Widow’s Bay. It was created by Katie Dippold, has spooky monster and supernatural vibes, and is a ton of fun to watch even if you hate jump scares.

  • Using AI for the Menial, Not the Meaningful
    Oct 8 2026

I clarify a snarky post I made about Twitter and AI that was a rage-bait example of an AI enthusiast wanting to train a voice model to “read” to their baby highlights what bothers me about AI hype: the gleeful drive to replace human involvement in meaningful, relationship-building or creative work.

  • More Thoughts on YouTube
    Oct 7 2026

I noticed that my Lemon Productions YouTube channel lost eight subscribers over the last 28 days, likely because of these daily podcast-style videos that don’t match what some people expected. And I also discuss YouTube adding the ability to A/B test different versions of an entire video, not just titles and thumbnails, and I’m torn.
