Using widely circulated images — including Barack Obama publicly honoring Tom Homan for immigration enforcement — we walk through a fact most people were never meant to confront. Deportations, family separations, detention facilities, and interior arrests all existed long before Donald Trump took office. Under Obama, those same actions were praised as “firm but compassionate.” Under Trump, they were rebranded as Nazism.

By age six, he was the only kid left in the house — independent early, comfortable with solitude, and wired to think for himself long before that became unpopular.
