Ever heard of the men in black? For some it’s just a series of movies, comic book, or cartoon series. For others it was the most terrifying time of their life when they encountered them. Supposedly these men in black show up at the door or work place of those who have seen something they shouldn’t like an alien, a ufo, or know some type of knowledge they don’t want them to have. I compare this to how spiritual wickedness operates in our Christian life.

You hear a lot of talk about a hollow earth. Is there a whole other world going on down there? When it comes to another society of humans living down there like we do up here, who knows. One thing I know for sure is the Bible speaks of someone being in the heart of the earth. This is where Jesus went when he was dead for those three days and three nights. This is where the rich man is and where Lazarus was.

I recently heard a friend talking about how in the alien movies it is a fight between a humanity without God and the visitors from outer space. He said it reminds him of the end of the tribulation where humanity will gather together to fight an other worldly threat. And they will do it without God on their side. They will actually be fighting God as he comes back on a white horse. The movies portray the aliens as the bad guys, but in the Bible you’ll see some other worldly visitors that are the good guys.

In Job’s day if you went to the land of Uz you might of seen a man who physically lost everything laying on the ground scraping his skin. If you had spiritual eyes you would have seen the supernatural force that was tormenting Job and trying to make him break. This was none other than Satan himself. He took everything Job had but he left some messengers to relay the message to Job about what he lost. These four messengers remind me of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
