On Episode 16 of The Say You Swear® Show:
Phil and Milo welcome Dafterkid to discuss the experiences, losses, growth and determination behind his new album, EVOLVE. Dafterkid explains the meaning behind his artist name, his Jamaican and dancehall roots, growing up in Belle Glade, and how his journey from Division I football to music helped shape his discipline and perspective.
He also opens up about the influence of his late musical father, remaining authentic in a changing music industry, and the evolution of his catalog. The conversation features music from EVOLVE, including “Visionary,” the deeply personal “LL Diego” and “Love Me, Pt. 1 & 2.”
