I got interested in this podcast because of versatile and exceptional talent Gajraj Rao, who has embarked into this new creative medium of story telling.
Gajraj Rao, as Prasad Joshi, a retired postmaster has few undelivered letters, which he reads and delves into the poignant and heartwarming stories hidden within these letters.
Prasad Joshi brings to life the complexities of human relationships, the power of undelivered communication and the bitter-sweet taste of our unfulfilled expectations.
As listeners, simple and compelling storytelling will embark you on an emotional journey of understanding the intricacies of life and cherishing the people we have in our life.
My personal favourite is the last episode CA Cafe, the undelivered letter revolves around a father's expectations and son's ambitions, it reflects Prasad Joshi's own experience of disappointment when his son chooses a profession different from the conventional engineering.
Chitthiyan takes you back to the times of R K Narayan and Hawa Mahal, where the story telling was simple, amusing and entertaining.
Simple... Amusing... Entertaining
