Can you become wealthy while staying humble, generous, and close to Allah?

In this beneficial Islamic reminder, Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf shares lessons from the life of Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf (رضي الله عنه), one of the ten Companions promised Jannah. His remarkable journey shows how honest business, hard work, generosity, and trust in Allah can shape a Muslim’s relationship with wealth.

From starting his business in Madinah to giving generously in the path of Allah, his life offers valuable lessons on earning halal income, seeking barakah, and using wealth for the benefit of others.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

- What Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf’s life teaches us about wealth and faith

- Why a strong relationship with Allah matters more than financial status

- How he built his business through honest trade and hard work

- The importance of earning halal income in Islam

- How sadaqah and generosity can bring barakah into our lives

- Why wealth should be used to help others rather than encourage arrogance

- What his humility teaches us about success and leadership

- How Muslims can balance worldly success with their akhirah

- Why wealth is a test and a responsibility from Allah

Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf (رضي الله عنه) demonstrated that financial success and sincere faith can go hand in hand. His example encourages Muslims to work honestly, remain grateful, and give generously without becoming attached to worldly possessions.

Wealth is not simply about how much we accumulate, but how we earn it and how we use it. When guided by faith, generosity, and responsibility, our resources can become a means of benefiting others and seeking the pleasure of Allah.

May Allah grant us halal provision, place barakah in our wealth, and make us generous and grateful servants. Ameen.
