About this listen

Here at Wise & Weird we could not go through all of February without paying homage to Black History Month. This topic is something that could not fit into one episode, and deserves more attention than an hour, but it is also so important to have these discussions! This episode was important on a whole other level of healing for Nakisha and Camber! You get to hear tid-bits of historical facts around this month, alongside real-life experiences, studies around being Black in America, and many resources of inspiration, with ways to move forward, no matter where you fall on the spectrum of race. We hope this episode brings some hope to an ever-ongoing struggle, and shows that we can have these conversations, we can stand up for each other, and we can stay open-hearted while trying to find a better way. We are excited for you to take a listen, and would love to hear your own experiences, or any comments about this you would like to share!

If you love our episodes and insights, please hit the little thumbs up, subscribe, and share! We so appreciate the time you have taken out of your day to listen, and can’t wait to drop more content for our community.
