Narada speaks with Kathy Sledge, the Philadelphia-born singer and songwriter who sang lead on Sister Sledge's biggest hits, including "He's the Greatest Dancer" and the anthem "We Are Family," both US top 10 records, and the UK #1 "Frankie." "We Are Family" earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. As a solo artist her single "Take Me Back to Love Again" went to #1 on Billboard's dance club chart, and her voice has carried dance records from Robert Miles' "Freedom" to "Keep It Movin'," a #2 US dance hit in 2014. Narada once described her voice as "raw, rugged, and rough, tough and ready for all singing occasions."
