FAMU Football did more than lay an egg at home against Tennessee State University.

The game showed that FAMU’s football team is not able to beat itself and the opponent at the same time.

Beyond exposing that norm we saw that FAMU has an issue keeping quarterbacks healthy this season.

The game was well attended but the post game will likely go down in the books as one of the best post game pressers that we have had in a long time.

The honesty and pride displayed was refreshing but also showed a coach that is still looking to redefine what FAMU football is and to not only restore the strike but to also rebuild the image of this program.

Coming into the season many of us who believed in the potential of FAMU Football are a bit more than concerned with what we have seen thus far this season.

But I believe the fanbase, at least the rational members of the base, are willing to let our coach and this program grow into what we hope it to become.

So while many of us are frustrated with the outcome of the week in Miami we can still prepare for the upcoming week and look back at this past week to see a glimpse of hope for the future.
