• 2 Episode 67 The Truth of Christmas

During this busy season, Finding Grace In The Wilderness' last episode of 2025 pauses and reflects on the truth of Christmas. The truth is that Christmas is all about love. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Whosoever is each one of us. Jesus came to this world for each one of us.

In this episode, Sharon discusses how our enemy tries every way possible to keep us from accepting Jesus and experiencing the closeness that God intended for us to have with Him. The enemy asks the question, "Did God really say that?" in an effort to get us to doubt God and His great love for us. We have to know the voice of our Master, know His character, and know who asked the question to avoid this trap.

Thank you for taking time out of the hustle bustle to listen to this episode and ponder on the truth of Christmas. Please follow to receive notifications of future episodes. Thank you for sharing with your friends. That is how our ministry grows.

God wants the unwanted. Bradley was always wanted. First by God, and He made a way for Bradley to have his family restored when he was abandoned in a Ukraine hospital by his biological mother. Scott and Sharon and their older son, Taylor, wanted and prayed for Bradley and God moved Heaven and Earth to make them a family in the middle of 911. That was just the start of the story. • 2 Episode 62 What a Friend We Have in Jesus with Music by Scott Hawkins
    Sep 25 2025

    Send us a text

In this episode, Sharon breaks down what it means to have a friendship with Jesus. Some friends come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Once we accept Him as our Savior, He comes into our lives to stay--through the good, the bad, and the ugly. He never leaves us, nor forsakes us. They say to have a friend, you have to be one. Jesus is our friend even when we don't give Him the time of day. God made us for relationship. That works both ways. We should long for His presence, and spend time with Him. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, and He is there for us through it all.

Scott Hawkins, Sharon's husband, joins her today to sing "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". Thank you for listening to this episode. Bask in the friendship that you have with Jesus. If your role has been lacking, there is no better time than today to grow closer to Jesus. He is always waiting just to spend time with us, and to be the Lord of our lives, to help us through it all.

Please subscribe or follow wherever you listen to your podcasts. Don't miss a single issue. Please share this with someone today who might be encouraged by a closer friendship with Jesus, or with someone who doesn't know Him as their Savior. There is no better day than today to cultivate a relationship with the Master. May you always find God's grace in your wilderness, and never forget--What A Friend You Have In Jesus!!
