Their plight - parallels our own spiritual journey and the reviving work we are called to do for our own Temples.

Power that flows from weakness? Sounds counterintuitive, but that's exactly what the Holy Spirit offers! We explore the difference between the peace that comes from salvation and the power that comes through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Just like a cucumber becomes permanently changed into a pickle, the Holy Spirit wants to transform us from the inside out! Are you feeling weak, overwhelmed, or lacking purpose? God's power is made perfect in our weakness. When we humble ourselves and surrender fully to Him, that's when His supernatural strength can flow through us.

Forgiveness is - the pathway to peace. My recent trip to the Ocean reminded me of the vastness of the ocean and God's great power, His love and forgiveness. It's important every now and then - to "vacate" - our "routines" and especially our habitual way of seeing things and reacting (or over-reacting) to things that have hurt or offended us. Can we see others through God's eyes, even when wronged. Unforgiveness weighs us down. I pray that we would embrace Christ like forgiveness more and more - and understand it - not only as what the Lord expects of us - but as a way to reflect Christ's love and peace in a world filled with conflict.

On that first Sunday night of Christ's resurrection - Jesus came to His disciples and said - "Peace Be To You" - then He told them to "Tarry" (wait/sit down/stay in place) - in the city of Jerusalem till they were endued (clothed) with Power from on high - then ... "GO" - and be a witness to the Good News you've experienced, the Gospel of Jesus Christ - even to the ends of the earth! (Acts 1:8).

How do we go? I believe that we "Walk by Faith - Not By Sight" (2 Cor. 5:7) and in the Spirit we are powered through: Prayer, Proclamation, and Praise!

Most days - we're embroiled in a battle of the mind. In our walk of faith - we need to discern which voice we are hearing so as not to travel down the rabbit hole of despair. Scripture reminds us where this "battle-field" is and the process by which we must use to win the battle! 2 Corinthians 10:5 says - "[We are] destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and [we are] taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,". This two step strategy - is a process by which we can gain victory over the thoughts that seek to overwhelm and destroy us.
