We're halfway through the District 2 football season and five teams remain undefeated. Coach Dan LaMagna and Coach George Howanitz break down Week 5 results, roll out updated rankings for both big school and small school, and preview a pivotal Week 6 slate.

This week: North Pocono and Dallas stay perfect at 5-0 in the big schools. In the small schools, Prep, Dunmore, Lakeland, and Riverside are still unbeaten — and Howanitz challenges the rankings, demanding respect for those 5-0 teams.

The featured game: Lakeland (5-0) travels to Riverside (5-0) in what could be the upset special. Lakeland's versatile offense led by Jackson Postus faces Riverside's dynamic scorer Braden Rose — who may be dinged up from a close rival win over Old Forge.

We also preview:

• Scranton Prep's hot hand hosting Abington Heights (a measuring stick game)
• Honesdale hosting Western Wayne (rivalry football)
• North Pocono dominating Wilkes-Barre
• Dallas rolling Hazleton
• Plus rapid-fire looks at 15+ other matchups around the valley

Coach Howanitz defends his calls with Coach Dan LaMagna ready to throw the challenge flag. New rankings, game predictions, and all the intel you need heading into Week 6 across Lackawanna and Wyoming Valley conferences.
