• Celebrating $100k and Our 100th Episode!
    Sep 22 2021

As an online service provider, agency owner, or new digital business owner, reaching that $100k mark is a target you likely have set for yourself. You scroll through Instagram where many announce that they’ve reached these financial goals in short time spans from $100k in 100 days, or even $10k in 10 days.

To celebrate our 100th episode, I’ll be taking you behind-the-scenes of how the Pod Factory reached the $100k mark. This isn’t a remarkable story of how we reached those goals very quickly. Instead, I dive deep into an honest conversation about slow growth, building and trusting a team, and defining success by other measures instead of financial ones.

This episode is for the entrepreneur who is just starting out, and the ones who feel like reaching huge money goals is something they can’t currently imagine for themselves. I share my best tips and advice about growing slowly but steadily, stepping into your role as CEO, and how I keep my head up high throughout the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Your journey might not look like everyone else’s and that’s alright. Tune in and trust that you’re on the right track with your slow and sustainable growth.

  • Using Instagram and YouTube to Power Your Marketing Strategy with Jamar Diggs
    Sep 8 2021

Is it just me, or is the online entrepreneurship space starting to feel like high school (but in a good way)? What I mean by that is we’re all in the same space and the same familiar faces seem to pop up on our feeds, screens, and wherever else we are online.

My guest host today is Jamar Diggs - a YouTube strategist for coaches and consultants looking to RANK on YouTube and Google search so they can stop being a slave to the content spiral. Jamar and I met online as I kept seeing him tagged on stories and posts on Instagram. He pointed out that having a podcast and using YouTube to market the podcast is the best way to grow your audience, which eventually led to us hosting my first and only Instagram live on this very topic.

Jamar is taking over today to spill the tea on why you need both Instagram and YouTube to power your marketing strategy. He dives into the major differences between Instagram and YouTube, and how you can use both of them to target different aspects of your content strategy. From evergreen content to engaging and building a solid community, Jamar is here to flip the script on your marketing efforts, giving it a strategic upgrade by making the case for both Instagram and YouTube.

  • How to Live a More Harmonious Life with Dr. Ashley AsShire Adams
    Sep 1 2021

As an entrepreneur and a new mom, I’m all too familiar with the concept of “work-life balance”. It’s a term that’s thrown around so often in the online entrepreneurship space, but it’s a term that seems quite far out of reach for busy moms, solopreneurs, and even well-established entrepreneurs.

Ashley AsShire Adams is the founder of Mentor Me, a professional development and mentoring company for professional women teaching them how to leverage their leadership skills to thrive personally and professionally. She takes over Franly Advice today to share why work-life balance is a myth that holds women back. Instead of bursting your work-life balance bubble, Ashley shares why you should strive for a harmonious life as opposed to balance.

If striking a balance between your busy work schedule and your personal life feels like an unattainable goal, this episode is for you. Ashley busts the myth of finding work-life balance while sharing the simple and effective strategies you need to live a more harmonious and fruitful life.

  • Transitioning from a One Woman Show to an Agency with Rachel Everington
    Aug 25 2021

As someone who once ran the show by myself, I still have to pinch myself as I acknowledge the team that I’ve grown and the agency that I’ve built. This is the very reason why I’ve been so blessed to enjoy my maternity leave. And if you’re a solopreneur or one-woman service provider, my friend Rachel Everington is here to spill the beans on transitioning from a one-woman show to a full-blown agency.

Rachel is the CEO of The Executive Ninja, an operations and virtual executive assistance agency, where CEOs can outsource their essential responsibilities to a professional and focus on their ultimate revenue potential. Today, she’s here to pull back the curtain on her journey, as she gives you the play-by-play from starting off with all the jobs she’s had, leaving corporate, starting as a virtual assistant and solopreneur, and finally building a 6-figure agency where she and her team support other businesses by leveraging their time, so that they may concentrate on their zone of genius while her team handles all the things required for the smooth and efficient operation of their business.

If you feel a little stuck with moving the needle forward in your business, this episode is for you. Tune in and let Rachel’s story inspire you as she shares what possibilities you could have looming in your future.
