Oh Cooter, it’s just not worth it. Jed’s taking his first shot at running scenes, and he’d better do good because this one is crazy coming at ya. Long story short, Cooter steals the President’s limo, and hopefully the boys can help him out of this jam before they all end up in jail. Don’t worry, the General is jumping, dynamite arrows are flying, Daisy is beautiful, and Rosco is dutiful. Let’s get into

it guys, there’s federal crimes to commit!

The title doesn’t lie, we’ve got a heist in Hazzard. A swindled chicken farmer robs Boss to get his money back, and the boys get pinched for it. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time! Meanwhile, a hard working Daisy falls for the robber, the boys are on the run despite Bo’s sore feet, Jesse is trying to make sense of everything, Rosco is being hilarious in the midst of pretty fair police work, and Enos’s fate is a huge point of contention for the Fun Boys. This episode was harder to discuss than we were expecting, and we’re not sure we figured anything out, but see for yourselves as we review The Big Heist!

Drama, romance, action, comedy, heartbreak, adventure… all packed into one episode. How? We’re not sure either, but the Dukes pulled it off. The big race is coming up, and Luke falls hard for one of the other racers, but is he ready to commit to just one lady? No. Meanwhile, Jesse dishes out great advice, Daisy gives away free beers, Bo loses the General, Boss loses his Mama’s ashes, Cooter loses consciousness, and we about lost our minds. Tough one to keep straight, but with so much on the line we’ve got to give it a shot. Buckle up, gang. Here we go.

When an old acquaintance comes to visit the Duke farm, the boys find themselves in a whole heap of trouble. They agree to deliver a truckload of shine, but quickly learn they’ve got an ice cream truck full of weapons. Rosco and Enos are hot on their tails, and Boss is hungry for that truck. We’ve got double crosses, road blocks, giant walkie-talkies, exploding arrows, new scenery, Mrs Puff, possibly the tree from to Kill a Mockingbird, and craw dad bisque! This one had us on the edge of our seats, all the way through the episode, or did it? Find out for yourselves as we ride along with the Dukes for “Swamp Molly.”

The boys are looking to buy a parts car to help win the big race. Instead, they quickly get sucked into a plot to repossess a Rolls Royce for Boss Hogg to give to Lulu. Little do they know, the people who bought it are counterfeiters with short fuses and quick triggers. Fortunately, the boys have Cooter, and he comes up big in this episode. But don’t get too attached to any vehicles this week unless the Dukes own it. Let’s unpack “Repo Men!”

The Duke family helps an old acquaintance who is very pregnant and on the run with a suitcase full of cash. Can they help her escape the Atlanta crime boss who wants his money back? Maybe, but they’ll do it without the General Lee for some reason. We had some mixed feelings on this episode, but if the Duke boys can take on a crime boss, the Fun Boys can take on Mary Kaye’s Baby. Yee-haw!
