    Christopher and Laraine Durham are the husband-and-wife team behind The Downsized, a daily YouTube channel for people who want honest, real-world conversations about GLP-1 medications and the medical treatment of obesity.

    They have been married for 22 years and live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their three kids. Together, they have lost more than 150 pounds using GLP-1 therapies, including tirzepatide (Mounjaro) and Zepbound. They started this channel in September 2023 after realizing how confusing, lonely, and overwhelming this process can feel.
