Dimitri Van Den Meerssche explains how Belgium could leave the EU-Israel Association agreement TOMORROW.

European countries have been hiding behind the EU level to avoid taking responsibility and leaving the EU-Israel Association Agreement. Van Den Meerssche makes it abundantly clear that Belgium, Spain, and any other EU country could leave the agreement on their own - which would cause a domino effect - collapsing the agreement internationally without needing every country to be on board.

About Dimitri: Dimitri Van Den Meerssche is a Senior Lecturer in Law and Fellow of the Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences (IHSS) at Queen Mary University of London. Recent writing focused the inequalities enacted at the virtual border, the phantom publics and value systems of algorithmic governance, and the subject of critique in international law and technology. This work is inspired by critical security studies, feminist technoscience, infrastructure and design theory, and critical black studies.
