The NHL preseason is over, and the 2026-2027 NHL Season is about to begin. We talk about some recent NHL News since the last time we dropped Episode 6. We then share our reviews on the Utah Mammoth's preseason and share our thoughts on the roster moves thus far, we share our week predictions as we challenge the guys at Slapshot Utah to a game, and then Josh will share his first impressions on round 2 of the renovations at the Delta Center.

Josh and I briefly talk about the latest news coming from Winnipeg and around the NHL.

We also have a little exercise with a hypothetical expansion draft protected list for both Vegas and Utah with the idea that the NHL is expanding into Houston next season. We have challenged the guys from the Slapshot Utah podcast to a game where we each try to predict the winners all season long for Vegas and Utah, with a pizza dinner up for grabs.

The 2026-2027 NHL schedule has been released and we are joined by John (one of the co-hosts of the Slapshot Utah podcast) to talk about the release of the schedule for the upcoming NHL season. We discuss the debuts of new players with their new clubs and their return to their previous homes. Then we take a closer look at the schedule of the Utah Mammoth and touch on the Vegas Golden Knights.
