This story is based on F. Marion Crawford's short story "The Doll's Ghost". Mr. Puckler has an interesting profession. He repairs broken dolls. When he is asked to fix Nina, he becomes quite attached to her. Nina is repaired, she is as good as new. Puckler’s daughter goes out in order to deliver it to its rightful owner. But she doesn’t come back.
