My name is Vernon aka uncle Vern, a 46 year old that is not quite ready to go for middle-age to old man so I’m living through vicariously my 22-year-old nephew who is in college, I am still attempting to rock flat brim, hats, and air, Jordans, and trying to stay relevant and cool despite the fact that my wife thinks I should dress and act my age. Toby Keith says I’m not as good as I once was but I’m good ones so I used to be or something like that 😆 J-Bone and I may be 24 years apart, but he is certainly more mature than me already. My uncle and my dad or my best friends growing up and me and Jason have had quite a relationship since he was a little and watch him grow into a fine young man, anybody out there can relate and has a similar relationship with the older family member. We talk about everything that’s going on in the world that we think is interesting and funny, but we do not ever talk about politics, or religion my dad taught me an early age while I sat there and watched him drink with his buddies to never talk about this too, and I believe that it is still me and important that we stay away from those topics. So we will not talk about tariffs, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Tesla, Kamala, Harris, Joe Biden, RFK, we may very well talk about the New York Yankees torpedo, bats, what’s trending on TikTok, ASMR, PewDiePie, Taylor, Swift, Travis Kelce, Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, GloRilla, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, CMA award show, Houston, Texas, Rascal Flatts, Rocky, the basement yard, a lot of all we will talk about will be making fun of ourselves as we feel like it’s too short to take ourselves too seriously.
