Top 10 Hallmark Movies Featuring Hispanic Actors - Oct 2026
    Oct 8 2026
It’s October and Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas is just days away — and Hallmark Movie Drafts is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month with a very special draft.

This month, Lynn Austin and this month's co-host Jackie Finestone are joined by special guest Alonso Duralde and panelists Janet Bernal, Jessica Trinidad, and Alicia Lomas Gross to draft the Top 10 Hallmark movies featuring Hispanic actors in a lead role.

There are 61 eligible Hallmark movies, spanning from 2008 through Sept 2026, featuring an impressive collection of award-winning talent, including Academy Award winners and nominees, Grammy Award winners and nominees, Tony and Emmy nominees, and Golden Globe nominees.

Along with romance, we’ve got mysteries, amnesia, fake relationships, family drama, career dilemmas, and plenty of classic Hallmark movie tropes.

Special Guest: Alonso Duralde, Chief U.S. Film Critic for The Film Verdict, film critic, author, and podcaster whose work spans an impressive range of movies and media. He is the co-host of podcasts including Linoleum Knife, Maximum Film, The Film Library, and Breakfast All Day, as well as Deck the Hallmark. He is also the author of five books, including Hollywood Pride: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Representation in Film and the revised and updated edition of Have Yourself a Movie Little Christmas.

Which Hallmark movies featuring Hispanic actors make the cut? Which favorites get left on the board, and which make the final Top 10?

There’s only one way to find out! Let the draft begin!
