In this episode I am joined by the wonderful Taleen Afsharain shares her understanding on what God says and thinks about true self care and I believe this episode is going to transform hearts because it sure pulled on my own heart strings.

Taleen is an Armenian American, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She was fortunate to be born into a Christian home and accepted Christ as her Savior at the young age of 5. In her young adult years, Taleen came to know the Jesus of the Bible personally and realized her desperate need for His strength and righteousness. On her own, she acknowledges that she would be overwhelmed by the weight of both the world's expectations and her own. Taleen loves God's Word, spending time with Him in prayer, and teaching other women about His goodness. She has embraced the truth that her life is not her own but belongs first and foremost to Him, to steer according to His purpose, while she stewards it faithfully. Living in obedience to such a good King, she finds, is never a dull moment. Taleen works full-time in Christian higher education and is eagerly preparing to expand her ministry through her local church and her upcoming podcast, Grace and Truth, launching in 2025.
