Healing Loudly is a podcast about the conversations we’re told not to have.

Hosted by longtime friends Ani and Dana, a Middle Eastern queer woman and a Black woman, the show explores healing, rage, identity, grief, relationships, generational trauma, white supremacy, patriarchy, sexuality, and what it really means to live authentically in a world that benefits from their silence.

Through raw storytelling, laughter, difficult truths, and unfiltered conversation, Healing Loudly creates space for the messy, vulnerable, and deeply human parts of being alive.

This is healing out loud.

In this episode of Healing Loudly, we're getting into the messy, uncomfortable, and deeply human intersections of celebrity, complicity and the things we're been taught to hide.

Ani and Dana discuss Ed Sheeren & Macklemore and ask the question: What does it mean to stand for something when standing up actually costs you something?

Then we're turning inward - and getting unapologetically honest about women's bodies, the shame we've inherited, and the cultural obsession with keeping menstruation quiet, clean, and out of sight.

Whether it's a celebrity protecting their brand, or a woman hiding a tampon up her sleeve, shame and silence don't happen in a vacuum. They're learned, reinforced, and profitable for someone.

As always, Ani and Dana are here to unpack it all - with curiosity, candor and absolutely no interest in keeping the conversation comfortable just for the sake of it.
