  • #237 Start before You are Ready
    Oct 25 2026

How many things have you delayed because you thought you needed to feel more ready first?

A conversation. A healthier habit. A new opportunity. A boundary. A change you know you need to make.

We often think confidence should come first—but most of the time, confidence is built by moving.

In this episode of Healthy Vibes, we’re talking about why waiting to feel ready can keep us stuck, how fear can disguise itself as preparation, and why sometimes the next step is all we really need.

    In this episode:

    • Why we wait for confidence, certainty, motivation, or the “right time”
    • How preparation can quietly turn into procrastination
    • Why fear does not always mean stop
    • The difference between being unprepared and simply being uncomfortable
    • Why action often creates confidence
    • How to make the next step smaller when the whole thing feels overwhelming
    • What faith looks like when you cannot see the whole path

One of the biggest reminders this week:

You do not need the whole plan. You need the next step.

Sometimes we want God to show us exactly how everything is going to work before we move. But faith often looks more like taking one step with the light we have.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105

A lamp does not always light the entire road. Sometimes it simply gives us enough light to move forward.

    Sunday Courage Challenge:
Think about one thing you’ve been waiting to feel ready for. Then ask yourself…

What is the smallest next step I can take this week?

    Send the email.
    Make the call.
    Start the walk.
    Have the conversation.
    Take the step.

You do not have to feel completely ready. You just have to be willing to begin.

  • #236 How to Let Go of What You Can’t Control
    Oct 11 2026

In this episode of Healthy Vibes, we’re talking about what it really means to release the grip.

Letting go doesn’t mean you stop caring. It doesn’t mean you give up, ignore the problem, or stop taking responsibility. It means learning to recognize the difference between what is yours to do and what is not yours to control.

We’ll talk about why uncertainty makes us want to hold on tighter, how overthinking can disguise itself as responsibility, and what it looks like to trust God with the outcome after you’ve done your part.

    In this episode:

    • Why we keep picking things back up after we’ve said we’ve let them go
    • How control can create a false sense of safety
    • The difference between caring about something and carrying it
    • How to recognize what is actually yours to do
    • Why uncertainty is often where trust becomes real
    • A simple four-step process to help you release what you can’t control

    The Release the Grip Process:

    1. Name it. What are you carrying?
    2. Do your part. What is actually yours to do?
    3. Release the outcome. What belongs to someone else, the circumstances, or God?
    4. Redirect. Where does your attention need to go now?

    Scripture for this week:

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Letting go is not always a one-time decision. Sometimes we have to release the same thing again and again.

Sunday Courage Challenge: Your One Healthy Choice this week

Identify one thing you are gripping too tightly this week.

Ask yourself: What part of this is actually mine to do?

    Do that part.

    Then practice releasing the rest.

If this episode encouraged you, follow Healthy Vibes so you don’t miss the next conversation. And if someone came to mind while you were listening, share this episode with them.
