When a beautiful vase is shattered into pieces, it can be hard to imagine it ever being beautiful again. Sometimes life can feel that way too. Heartbreak, betrayal, rejection, loss, disappointment, and painful experiences can leave us feeling like pieces of who we once were.

But God doesn’t look at your brokenness and see something that should be thrown away. He sees something He wants to restore.

Isaiah 61:1 tells us that Jesus was sent to bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted, and Psalm 147:3 says that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

God is in the restoration business. Just like a broken vase can be carefully put back together and made beautiful again, God can take the broken places of your heart and bring healing, restoration, and wholeness.
