In this scripted comedy/sci-fi Audible Original, a quick-witted young blogger turned investigator, Cassie (Sophie McShera) travels to the sleepy English countryside, only to discover a paranormal threat beyond humanity’s worst nightmares.

Following a strange event, frustrated British paranormal researcher, Cassie Chambers is thrown together with uptight American, Glen Hedley (Adam James), an agent for a shady government organization. This mis-matched duo soon discover, not only do they have a mystery to uncover, but also they’re humanity’s only defense against malign ultra-terrestrials from a different dimension. The script is spectacular and the perfromances excellent. Very surprised how enjoyable this was. Thoroughly entertaining.

The humor and story-telling were spot on! Also, the sound effects were very good. It practically drew you into the world of the book. Have a go at this, you will NOT regret it.
I also liked the friendship between the female lead and her BFF. If this was a movie, it definitely passes the Bechdel Test.

🔸𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: it's an audiodrama rather than being narrated by a single person so it's awesome. especially the comedy & even villians can make you laugh that too without having any problematic jokes.just their voice acting is enough.
🔸𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: one less star is only because it's only 8 eps & may be it's to maintain the quality but i hope they bring in more of it in either season 2/continuation.
