Do you ever feel like your mind is always somewhere else?
Thinking about what happened yesterday, worrying about tomorrow, checking your phone, thinking about your to-do list… while the present moment passes you by.
In this episode of Rooh Podcast, I’m talking about something I’ve been learning more deeply through my own journey as a mindfulness coach and meditation teacher: how to slow down, come back to the present moment, and create more peace in everyday life.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, distracted, mentally busy, or simply stuck in your head, I’m sharing a few simple practices you can start using right away:
✨ Creating boundaries with your phone and notifications
✨ Using the Pomodoro technique to reduce distractions
✨ Spending a few quiet minutes alone with your thoughts
✨ Going for a mindful walk when you feel stuck or overwhelmed
✨ Creating a simple meditation ritual
✨ Using breathwork to help you slow down and reconnect with yourself
You don’t need to completely change your life to feel more present. Sometimes, it starts with five quiet minutes, one conscious breath, or simply noticing what is around you.
As a mindfulness coach, MBSR practitioner, and Certified Silva Method Trainer, I believe mindfulness doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be something we practice in the middle of our real, busy lives.
