How to Handle Salary History Questions in Job Interviews In this episode, we discuss the persistent question, 'What did you make at your last job?' despite it being banned in more than 20 states including California, New York, and Illinois. Learn why answering this question can be risky, especially for high-performing leaders who have been underpaid in the past. I provide three effective strategies to pivot away from sharing your previous salary and focus on your desired future compensation.
