Levels of Encouragement

1Facial – smile, wink, raise eye brows

TTouch – handshake, pat on back, squeeze shoulder

3General – you are doing a good job

4Specific – you are doing a good job of working with the Youth, I heard one brag on how you were teaching the Bible

5Spiritual

c. tell them you are being obedient to what God wants you to do for them

Mentors are people who share their wisdom to provide insight and guidance as a person encounters challenges along their journey.

Coaches often have expertise in the same field as the people they're helping. They're usually trained as coaches and have strong management skills.

Discipleship groups or Dgroups are in my opinion the best way to develop disciples in an organied way.

honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. However, do this with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15-16

Tell about how He blessed someone else!

Tell how He saved you from sin!

Hypocrites The word hypocrite came into English from the Greek word hypokrites, which means "an actor" or "a stage player." It refers to any person who was wearing a figurative mask and pretending to be someone or something they were not.

To me, honoring someone is to put their wants and needs ahead of mine or to show respect toward others with the idea that they are more important than me. It is rooted in being humble, and in our world today, humbleness is not valued or applauded.

Jesus demonstrated the ultimate humility through His example on earth. He said in Matthew 20:28 that He came to this world not to be served but to serve. We should learn to be humble and serve others just like Jesus.
