Whether they were escaping conflict, in search of education opportunities or looking for adventure, they all share the similar challenge of having to assimilate to a new country and culture. Migrant communities bring so much to the UK, however, they are often silenced or misrepresented. I-MMIGRATE: the podcast is giving a voice to those within migrant communities to share their story in hope that we can not only understand them, but learn and celebrate those who chose to make the UK their home.
