In this episode, I want to talk about learning how to be confident in who you are and what you have to offer without needing everyone else’s response to confirm it. I share some of my own experiences as a singer, learning to embrace what makes me different, stop trying to prove myself, and become comfortable presenting myself as someone who knows what they carry. Everybody may not understand you, support you, or appreciate what you bring, but that doesn’t mean you have to change who you are. Sometimes it’s not rejection, it’s redirection. Know your value, keep developing what you have, and don’t let the time it takes for people to catch on change what you recognize in yourself.
