The second half of the Sarah Moore conversation

Sarah Moore has run ultra marathons all around the world, and against the best individuals in the world. Naturally, this brings a great perspective to the podcast! However, even with her large amounts of success, Sarah still finds herself needing to step away from running a tiny bit and rediscover her "why". Oh, she's also really funny and one of my biggest inspirations! Our conversation was a tad bit lengthy with the second part coming out next week!

The most commonly heard questions that I get asked are about nutrition, and how to enjoy running. Over these 30 minutes I share my journey on learning to use nutrition to fuel my runs, and how I motivate myself to put on my running shoes (almost) every day.

A decade ago, Bridget walked on the treadmill one day and said boldly "No, I will NEVER run". A lot of miles have happened between that and her now running 100 miles a week! From her undergrade at the University of Michigan, to her experience in personal training and nutrition, Bridget shares her story and a wealth of knowledge!

Brooke is a wife, mother of 4, takes care of a small farm, and a nurse. Listening to her and how she makes time for herself through her hectic life is eye opening. Brooke stresses the importance of making time for ourselves to help both our physical and our mental health.

Melissa Londry started running in college as a way to try and stay fit post high-school sports. Over her first 8 years she remained inconsistent while having no fun doing it. Eventually, she found a group of women who made running fun and enjoyable. Now Melissa enjoys being a race director, while finding time to be a mother, and successful ultra marathon competitor.

Powerlifting, strongman, body lifting, ultra endurance, owning a gym and serving our country all rolled in to one man. Matt Smith, the "Iron Badger", discusses with me his unusual path into the endurance and fitness world. From a young age he had a hunger to reach for big goals and preaches self-discipline in every daily action.

A summary of my history and relationship with running. Everything from running to the stump and back as a kid, to completing a 243-mile self-supported race. Plenty of memories and moments are sprinkled in there, as well as a few of my favorite life lessons running has taught me so far.
