Week 2 of the 2026 college football season delivered huge performances, shocking results and plenty of reasons to start asking some serious questions about the SEC.

Alabama faced real adversity on the road against Kentucky before completely taking over in the second half, turning a 17-13 halftime deficit into a dominant 45-17 victory. The Crimson Tide outscored Kentucky 32-0 after halftime and suddenly look like a completely different team.

Meanwhile, Georgia continued to destroy everything in its path, blasting Western Kentucky 70-20. The Bulldogs have now scored 133 points through their first two games and are quickly reminding everyone why they remain one of the nation's biggest championship contenders.

Texas A&M also made a statement with a 48-20 win over Arizona State, while Tennessee defeated Georgia Tech 45-24. LSU dominated Louisiana Tech 45-14, although the Tigers still have plenty to clean up offensively.

And outside the conference, Texas pulled off one of the biggest comebacks of the season, rallying from 20 points down in the fourth quarter to defeat No. 1 Ohio State 24-23. The win vaulted Texas to No. 1 in the AP Poll and gave the SEC an enormous boost nationally.
