Self-proclaimed prophet Bobby Conner claims God told him to give another pastor a hickey on his neck during a church service—and his bizarre testimony raises serious questions about false prophets, spiritual discernment, and the state of the modern Charismatic movement. In this video, we examine Bobby Conner's own words, including his unusual claims of supernatural encounters with Jesus, and discuss his connections to prominent charismatic ministries such as Bill Johnson's Bethel Church in Redding, California, Rick Joyner's MorningStar Ministries, and Sid Roth's It's Supernatural! How can someone claiming to speak for God describe such inappropriate behavior as prophetic revelation? Why aren't more Christian leaders publicly confronting questionable prophetic teachings? And how can believers distinguish genuine moves of the Holy Spirit from spiritual deception? As a Spirit-filled Christian who believes the gifts of the Holy Spirit and genuine prophetic ministry are still active today, I am deeply troubled by the lack of biblical discernment in portions of the Charismatic Church. The Bible commands us to test the spirits (1 John 4:1), examine prophetic words (1 Thessalonians 5:20–21), and hold firmly to sound doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2–4). We cannot continue allowing sensational supernatural claims, unaccountable prophetic ministries, and questionable teachings to go unchallenged. The Church desperately needs repentance, accountability, biblical truth, and genuine spiritual power. The answer is not to abandon the Holy Spirit, but to return to a Christianity grounded in both WORD and SPIRIT. Join me as we examine Bobby Conner's controversial testimony, discuss the dangers of false prophecy, and call the Church back to biblical discernment and authentic New Testament Christianity.TORN CURTAIN MINISTRY INFO:
