In this introductory episode you'll learn about the Tuition Assistance Benefit (TAB), and how it was altered in Fall 2024 based on USC's self-inflicted financial challenges. This includes the sudden elimination of "The 15-year Letter", which was a vested benefit that guaranteed tuition for the dependents of USC's longest serving employees.
The 15-year Letter has since been reinstated, but the fight continues for the full restoration of the Tuition Assistance Benefit for employees, based on the terms we were recruited and ultimately hired under.
