Black Pioneers in Media is an audio documentary profiling trailblazing Jamaican broadcaster Barbara Blake-Hannah. Built on original research, the piece features her first UK interview in nearly a decade, distilled from an in-depth thirty-minute conversation into a concise, editorially rich narrative.
Originally broadcast on Youths Choice in 2017, the documentary was later adopted by Global Academy as formal training material, recognised for best practice in narrative structure, interview editing, and storytelling with purpose.
