Once a decision is made, communicate it clearly to the resident, ensuring that any approved modifications are implemented in a timely manner.

    The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is a federal law that offers protections for individuals who are victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, particularly in the context of housing. Under VAWA, housing providers cannot deny residency or evict individuals based on their status as victims of such violence.
