Ryan Fox nearly gets cut.

Two days later he wins the whole bloody thing.

DDP puts on a clinic.

Usman’s future suddenly looks very different.

And then a bloke called Tommy “Gunn” McMillan turns up and has T wondering whether we’ve just watched the beginning of something pretty special.

We kick this one off outside the cage with a massive weekend for Kiwi sport, Ryan Fox pulling off an unbelievable comeback and a World Cup final that gets Shubz and T talking about everything from Messi to the old school Brazilian greats.

Then we get back where we belong.

After what Dricus just did, there’s a very obvious fight sitting there for him.

But T has a strong opinion on who deserves the next shot and what Kamaru Usman should do from here.

We’ve seen plenty of fighters get hyped too early, but this one feels a little different.

That’s how long we waited to see Conor McGregor walk into a UFC cage again.

The music hits. The place changes completely. Conor walks out and for a few minutes it genuinely feels like the old days again.

Then the bell rings.

And the knee goes.

Honestly, this one sucked 😂

Last episode Shubz picked Conor. T picked Max. Turns out neither of us knew what the hell was coming.

We go through the McGregor vs Holloway rematch and what might now be the final chapter of Conor’s UFC career.

Does he rehab and try this one more time?

Does he eventually chase a boxing payday?

Or after five years trying to get back to this exact moment, is it finally time to call it?

T reckons the ride is over. Shubz isn’t quite ready to bury Mystic Mac just yet.

Thankfully the rest of International Fight Week gave us plenty.

Paddy Pimblett shuts a few people up with a nasty finish and now we’ve got a serious conversation about whether Paddy is one fight away from the belt.

Bobby Knuckles moves up and looks bloody good doing it.

Gable Steveson makes his UFC debut and T’s heavyweight champion prediction suddenly doesn’t look quite as ridiculous.

King Green and Terrance McKinney give us exactly the madness we expected.

Then somehow we go from broken knees to State of Origin heartbreak 😂

Queensland got jumped early. NSW got the job done. T takes the loss on the chin… eventually… while also having a few words about the bunker and some of those calls.

Five years out of the cage and Conor McGregor finally returns for a rematch more than a decade in the making against Max Holloway.

And of course Shubz and Tanera can’t agree on what happens 😂

T reckons five years away is simply too long and has Max Holloway getting it done in the fourth round.

Shubz is backing Mystic Mac by KO.

Someone is going to look very silly next episode.
