Not the comfortable Jesus we sometimes create in our heads—but the Jesus we actually see in the Gospels.

The Jesus who said, “Love your enemies.”

The Jesus who said, “Judge not.”

The Jesus who ate with sinners, welcomed outsiders, confronted religious hypocrisy, told His followers to serve instead of seeking status, and called people to forgive, surrender, and follow Him—even when it cost them something.

Some of the things Jesus said might make some modern Christians uncomfortable.

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace with Shane Forbis, we’re taking an honest, hard-hitting look at some of Jesus’ most challenging words and asking a question that may make us uncomfortable:

If Jesus walked into our churches today, would we actually recognize Him?

This isn’t about attacking the church.

It’s about getting past religious traditions, cultural expectations, and our own assumptions long enough to hear what Jesus actually said.

Because sometimes people aren’t rejecting Jesus…

They’re rejecting the version of Jesus they’ve been shown.

If you’ve ever been hurt by religion, struggled with church, questioned Christianity, or simply want to know Jesus beyond the religious noise, this conversation is for you.
