This is the 29th year the Gotcha Covered Collection Drive will helping San Antonians in need. The collection drive takes place December 7th at the Park North Shopping Center form 9a - 3p. The collected goods help Haven For Hope, The San Antonio Food Bank, and Battered Women and Children's Shelter. We discussed two topics. Suicide Prevention Month and Substance Abuse Awareness Month. We discussed how common both are and how to get help. We discussed how Laurel Ridge Treatment Center has a 40 year history of helping people with both of these issues. We talked about the signs that a loved one may be experiencing suicidal thoughts or having substance abuse issues. We also talked about how to get help. The key takeaway is there help and hope.
