In this season finale of IASS KIDS, I wanted to create something really special—an all-encompassing conversation about kids, intuition, and the magic that connects us all.

As an intuitive, artist, and first grade teacher, I’ve seen firsthand just how deeply connected children are to spirit. In this episode, I share my personal experiences, stories from my classroom, and the powerful synchronicities that have shaped my own relationship with intuition. Why is it children are naturally more open, present, and in flow? Is there something we can we learn from these very qualities to better receive from spirit?

Today we will explore perspectives from cultures and traditions around the world that all point to the same idea: children are deeply connected to something greater, and we can learn so much by simply observing and listening to them. Throughout this episode, I share real moments where spirit communicated with me—often through my students—and how these experiences have helped me trust, ask, and receive guidance in my everyday life.

This episode is really an invitation. To remember your own connection. To reconnect with your intuition. And to start noticing the magic that’s already showing up for you. Sherri Huáng, CCC-SLP, RMT is a multilingual speech-language therapist, clairvoyant reiki master-teacher, and founder of The Holistic SLP®, LLC. She was guided to the field of speech-language pathology at the age of 19 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh (BA, Communication Science & Linguistics, 2011) and summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (MA, Speech-Language Pathology, 2013), followed by her clinical fellowship. She has since practiced across a range of medical and school settings.

Sherri studied Holy Fire® and Karuna Reiki® with William Rand, founder of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). She leads reiki classes of all levels in New England and has conducted thousands of personalized intuitive reiki energywork sessions and channeled readings worldwide.

It’s very common for families, teachers, and adults to dismiss the gifts many of us come into this world with as young children. It seems intuition, until recently, has not been a topic that is often understood, used, and therefore discussed. Imaginary friends… They’re not real. Impactful dreams… They don’t mean anything. Premonitions… They’re not valid. Emotional intelligence… WHATS THAT?

When we disregard these gifts within us, or within our children, we create blockages that stop ourselves from being able to feel and see. Blockages that stop us from being able to connect with spirt, use our gifts, and find our purpose!

Join me today with special guest Ellen Edmondson, founder of support group Highly Intuitive Kids! Today we will discuss the special journey her and her husband have been through, and the struggles they have dealt with from raising a highly intuitive child. How can we bring more awareness to this topic to better support our children, and give them a community of like minded souls to flourish an grow, while staying connected to their intuitive and empathic abilities.

MEET ELLEN

Ellen Edmondson is the founder of an organization called Highly Intuitive Kids. She herself, is also the mother of a highly intuitive child, and stepped into her own intuitive abilities shortly after her son was born. She first noticed her son's unique experiences when he was 2 years old and just starting to talk more clearly. He began telling her and her husband about experiences he had when he was older-in a previous lifetime- the details were too specific and clear to be from the imagination of a 2 year old. He also began talking about his interactions with deceased loved ones. Not sure how to handle this, due to the lack of support on this topic, her and her husband created Highly Intuitive Kids as a wonderful resource and community for both children, and parents of children, who are learning how to maneuver thorough an often misunderstood world.

Her goal is to continually raise awareness about children who struggle and feel misunderstood in their communities, and to supply families with a better support system and necessary resources to help these children flourish and grow fully- connected to their intuitive and empathic abilities.
