Join us for this episode of the Neuro Nurture Podcast as we sit down with Kate Blanchard — education leader, executive coach, and advocate for inclusive, liberatory learning systems. Kate shares her journey from the classroom to systems-level leadership, and how those experiences shaped her perspective on disability justice and educational equity. We explore what it really means to design for learner variability, how Universal Design for Learning can move from theory into practice, and why rethinking special education is critical to building more inclusive systems. Kate also reflects on the shifts needed for educators and leaders to move beyond compliance-driven models toward approaches that center dignity, access, and true belonging for every learner.
