  • Anti-Hate Speech (feat. Andy Sacher & Paula Golden)
    Nov 22 2022

Last weekend, a banner was placed on the heavily trafficked Interstate 405 freeway reading “Kanye is right about the Jews.”

The banner was hung by members of the Goyim Defense League and was a reference to recent statements by performer Kayne West, also known as Ye, promoting anti-Semitic canards such as the Jews control the media. West also said he would go “death con 3” on Jewish people.

Adidas, maker of sneakers, clothes and other apparel, had a promotional deal with Ye and FINALLY withdrew its deal after numerous calls and petitions from the public.

These disgusting acts of antisemitism and hatred hit me to the very core. While this is being described as free speech, this is hate speech that is meant to divide and intimidate us as a community. This is about humanity. I believe every religion; every culture and every race must speak out about this hate.

Jews and non-Jews alike must stand together in combating antisemitism. Speaking out will serve to bring us closer together in the fight against any sort of racism.
