  • Day 2: Creation
    Dec 2 2025

When we look at creation it's important to understand that what we read in Scripture, from beginning to end, is absolutely true. There are definitely areas of Scripture that our minds may not fully comprehend, and that is okay! That's where faith and trust come in. So when it becomes difficult to accept that God simply spoke and the most complex things came to be, or to imagine that all these things could have happened in just 6 days, or to comprehend that man started from the dust of the ground and women from the rib of the man, remember that God is God and we are not. He has revealed these things to us so that we can see His power, give Him glory, and humbly embrace His Truths with a child-like faith.

  • Day 4: Noah
    Dec 4 2025

Sin is anything we think, say, or do that goes against God's rules. Sin has consequences that ultimately lead to death and separation from God. There came a time in our history when there was so much sin in the world that God decided to destroy mankind. There was only one man who was righteous in God's eyes, and that man was Noah.

  • Day 7: Sarah
    Dec 7 2025

God made a promise to Abram that he would have a family as numerous as the stars. The problem. Abram and Sarai had no children and were well past the age of having a child. But we are going to see today that even when something seems impossible, God always keeps His promises.

Something to note about today's devotional is the name changes. Abram is now Abraham and Sarai is now Sarah. God himself changed the names of Abram and Sarai in Genesis 17 as a way of confirming His everlasting covenant with them. Abraham is to be the "father of many nations" and Sarah is to be the "mother of nations."
