    In today’s reading, we see the boldness of the apostles as they proclaim Jesus despite opposition. In Acts 4, Peter and John stand firm before the religious leaders, declaring that salvation is found in no one else but Christ. The early church shows unity as believers share their possessions to care for one another.

    Acts 5 brings both a warning and a wonder: the story of Ananias and Sapphira reveals the seriousness of honesty before God, while many signs and wonders confirm the Spirit’s power. The apostles face arrest but continue to preach with courage, saying, “We must obey God rather than men.”

    In Acts 6, we see the church growing so rapidly that seven men are chosen to assist in serving, including Stephen, who will soon play a pivotal role in the story of faith and witness.
