Keanu Reeves Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Keanu Reeves is quietly having one of the most consequential weeks of his recent career, with moves that reshape both his film legacy and his ongoing second act as a working musician and producer. According to Deadline, widely echoed by outlets like CBR and Kirkus Reviews, Reeves has locked in his next major action franchise with Kill Current, an adaptation of Oliver Lowes upcoming espionage thriller Kill Current: A Jon Hendricks Story. The project is especially significant because Reeves will not only star as burned out CIA operative Jon Hendricks, he will also produce through his new banner Two Dragonflies, founded with artist Alexandra Grant and partnered with producer Erik Feig and publisher Zando. This marks the first film officially under Two Dragonflies, positioning Reeves not just as an action lead but as a long‑term creative force behind a potential franchise. Storizen and Kirkus emphasize that Kill Current is being framed as the start of a larger series, suggesting a post John Wick era built around a new, globe‑trotting thriller identity. Industry coverage on sites like Ground News and Polish Radio also ties this into the larger picture of Reeves expanding his portfolio: John Wick 5 is now confirmed, with Lionsgate and franchise insiders signaling that he will return as the titular assassin while the universe broadens with spin offs, meaning that Kill Current is likely to sit alongside Wick rather than replace it. The Hollywood Reporter, via Ground News, further notes that Shiver, his big budget sci‑fi thriller directed by Deadpool filmmaker Tim Miller, is in post production, reinforcing that Reeves has multiple tentpole projects in the pipeline at once. On the music side, Keanu is very much in the present tense. Local coverage from Boise radio outlet 103.5 KISS FM reports that Dogstar, with Reeves on bass, is on the road with their All In Now 2026 tour and quietly hitting mid‑size venues, including a show in Boise this weekend with VIP meet and greet packages. WMMR in Philadelphia similarly highlighted a sold‑out Union Transfer concert where Reeves was described as rocking the stage with his Dogstar bandmates, and Polish Radio notes that the band has a fourth album underway with a recent single titled Joy and plans for further touring. All of this underscores that music is no longer a novelty footnote in his biography, but an active parallel career. Beyond that, Canal Plus in France is hyping a Point Break series set 30 years after the original film, though at this stage coverage explicitly says there is no confirmation that Reeves will reprise his role as Johnny Utah. Any talk of his involvement there remains speculation until a formal casting announcement is made. Thanks for joining me for this Keanu Reeves Biography Flash.
