Kill Every Monster is an award-winning Dungeons and Dragons podcast about every monster in the manual. Co-hosts Dylan and Aram are joined by a guest for a DM-deep-dive into a classic D&D monster. The first part is a discussion, and the second is a one-shot actual play where our guest takes on the role of the monster. Dungeons & Dragons is many things to many people, but at its heart lies a system that rewards players for killing monsters. In each episode we ask three central questions: What is this creature? Are they really a monster? How would you change them in Dungeons and Dragons? Each episode of Kill Every Monster is a contained story, so you never have to worry about being caught up or listening out of order. Pick any monster you like and dive right in!     The Yuan-Ti were “originally humans who transformed themselves into serpent folk through ancient rituals. Most yuan-ti were corrupted into monsters by those rites, but some yuan-ti instead became a new people who mix characteristics of humans and snakes.”

    We are joined by Sebastian Yūe.

    Sebastian is a game writer, editor, and designer based in Canada. They like to explore queer, monstrous themes, and have contributed to TTRPGs such as Daggerheart, the Cosmere RPG, Pathfinder, and Apocalypse Keys. They are also the publishing coordinator and community manager at Hit Point Press.

    We are joined by Khaldoun.

    Khaldoun Khelil has been developing and writing games for over 20 years. He has written for numerous RPGs and worked for think tanks such as the Middle East Institute and the World Policy Institute. Khaldoun writes games of personal horror, political conspiracy, and dark fantasy. His credits include work on Dune, Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Mummy the Curse, Vampire the Requiem, and Cthulhu Awakens. Most recently Khaldoun was the developer and principal author on The Black Hand: Playing the Sabbat for V5’s Storyteller’s Vault.

    Rust Monsters are described in the Monster Manual as "strange, normally docile creatures corrode ferrous metals, then gobble up the rust they create. In doing so, they have ruined the armor, shields, and weapons of countless adventurers."
