• The Blessed Takayama Memorial Battle Royale 2
    Feb 3 2026

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party, and a happy Feast of Blessed Takaayama to you all. Today, to honor the Catholoic Samurai Takayama, I am here to host the second annual Memeorial Battle Royale. Thirty films enter the ring, but only one will walk away with the honor of being rewatched and reviewed for another time. Can the first Cup winner The Clones of Bruce Lee pull off a repeat win? Will one of the New School films overcome the odds to beat the Old School films? The fate of these films rests in the hands of a random number generator.

"There's no way I'm going to the Philippines"

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, I sit down to review Black Cobra 2 starring Fred "The Hammer" Williamson. He plays Robert Malone, who sometimes they call Bob and I do not care for that. In this review, I talk about the 80s fascination with cops who work above the law, and also how popular the Chicago Cubs were; I also highlight Fred "The Hammer's" fighting style which was not what I expected.

  • Surviving the World of Survival Horror Games
    Jan 23 2026

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, we are headed back to the Arcade as I dip my toe into the world of Survival Horror Games. With Silent Hill and Resident Evil both getting films this year, it seemed like a good idea to check out games in this genre and give my take as a martial artist on how you could prepare for these situations. So grab yourself a baseball bat covered in barbwire and let's get into this shocking, jumpscare filled world!

*something, something, something in a British accent.*

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. In today's episode, I sit down to review Edge of Fury starring Bruce Li. Edge of Fury is a perfectly fine movie, featuring a massive plot whole that is comedically large, and starring one of the more well known Leealike actors. The movie's plot was engaging and yet so mild I couldn't come up with a proper quote to open the show.

    Jan 16 2026

Welcome to my dojo my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, I am joined by returning guest and Christian Taoist Joshua Noel, host of Be Living Water to discuss the iconic book The Tao of Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee. Here, Josh and I discuss the basic philosophical view Bruce Lee presents in the Tao of JKD of being your authentic self. We explore how formlessness expands beyond the martial arts to include cooking and preaching, and Josh gives his pitch for Reverse Confirmation.

    MORTAL KOMBAT!

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party, and today is the beginning of our year long Arcade series. To begin our dive into the fighting game world, I sat down with Joe Dea of Thoughts from a Bearded Geek to discuss the early lore of Mortal Kombat. We discuss the buzz around the gaming series in the early 90s, and what the MK lore was like in the orignal trilogy of games.

    Jan 9 2026

*insert song by The Wiggles here*

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. To complete my Challenge to do a double episode drop, today I am back to review Hot Potato starring Jim Kelly. In this review, I trash this film. Some say that Hot Potato is the end of the Blackploitation era and the start of the Kung Fu era. If that's true, I would like a better film to represent that switch off. Besides, there's a whole other film genre that Hot Potato represents very well.

    Jan 9 2026

"What's his name? Black Samson. What's his game? He ain't got none."

Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, for the first review of 2026, I discuss Black Samson starring Rackne Tarkington. In this review, I discuss how William Smith's villain character is one of the more fleshed out villains I have seen within the blackploitation genre, and how Black Samson pulls from the Biblical account of the life of Samson for it's source material. Spoiler: Black Samson is a better role model than Bible Samson.
