It all began with a puzzling and contentious press conference announcing the team's new front office structure, which left many baffled and concerned for the future. Then, a little more than 24hours later, the mood completely flipped as the Leafs parlayed their 5th spot in the draft order into the number 1 overall selection in the up and coming NHL entry draft!
